5 Tips Why Soil Testing is Important in Agriculture

Soil is a farmer’s true identity. Until and unless he doesn’t know what kind of soil is, he cannot know what he can grow. He should get a regular report from a soil testing lab to know each and everything about the soil so that he can fix it and condition it for great yields every time. After all, good soil means good yield which means happy farmers. And, this in turn means a well-fed society. Hence, it is very important to study what type of soil is there in a particular region or land. In fact, the lack of information thereof, we have lost a great deal of fertile land for agriculture. This is the risk we cannot take in the times when we have greater number of mouths to feed.
